Hatred in the internet: yes or no?

Nowadays internet plays a huge role in people’s lives. It’s an instrument of communication, amusement, education etc. The longer it exists, the wider its possible usage becomes.

Unfortunately, this mean of communication is not always used for greater good. As far as the main trait of it is being anonymous, some people get an opportunity to international hatred or for bulling. Saying bad things about each other without any punishment has never been so easy.

It often leads to racism, sexism and other kinds of things, which have to be overdone already in the 21st century.

Can we forbid people to say such things? It would make our world so much better!

The most important principle of a free democratic society is free speech. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy It means that anyone can freely express his or her opinion and try to persuade other people to follow his lead. It doesn’t necessarily mean politics or something like that, but our nature demands in itself finding comrades who support you.

As follows, if we don’t let people say what they want, we violate their freedom. Here in the USA we believe in equality and equal rights for all the people, even idiots.
